On October 26, 2017, a round table on "The Internal and International Visibility of Digital Scientific Content" was organised by Information Society Development Institute (IDSI). The purpose of the event was to explore the emerging challenges and opportunities related to the new Open Science paradigm that Moldovan scientific community is facing, as well as to identify ways to stimulate and assist users enabling them to harness digital scientific content and increase its domestic and international visibility.
The event was attended by approx. 80 representatives of the editorial boards of Moldovan scientific journals, researchers from the institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. The round table, as part of the DISCUS project (International Visegrad Fund - nr. 21470018), was streamed online and watched by approx. 100 users.
The seminar: ICT Solutions for Local Services (practical aspects) took place on 24-25 November in Chisinau. The event was organized by the Information Society Development Institute in the framework of DISCUS project, funded by International Visegrad Fund.
The seminar was attended by approx. 120 people, including 15 mayors, 20 deputy mayors, secretaries of local/district councils, 20 representatives of libraries, schools/colleges/universities, as well as several experts from local public authorities of Ist and IInd level from Moldova.
During October 5-9, 2015 a team of 5 persons from Moldova participated at a study visit in Slovakia. The group consisted of 3 public local servants (Orhei, Sîngerei, Hîncești) and 2 researchers from the Information Society Development Institute.
On September 22-23, Chisinau hosted the workshop entitled Electronic Local Public Services. The event was attended by 55 people, among them 19 mayors, 2 deputy mayors, 5 secretaries of the local councils and 10 specialists of LPA coming from 27 villages, 6 towns and 14 rayons of Moldova.
Information Society Development Institute announces the next DISCUS project activity - study visit to Slovakia in October! The study visit will last five days: from 5 to 9 October 2015 and will take place mainly in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The team that will visit Slovakia will consist of five people, including one person - coordinator from ISDI, a specialist from IDSI and 3 people - local public representatives from Moldova.
On September 22 - 23 will take place next DISCUS project event. The workshop has the topic: Local e-Services and will be held in Chisinau. Are invited to attend the event the local public servants, representatives of the government sector, civil society, the academic community, representatives of the business, the media.
Information Society Development Institute (ISDI) in partnership with the State University of Moldova (SUM) organized a round table entitled Capitalization of the national scientific heritage through digital content, on 5 June 2015.
Informaiton Society Development Institute announces the next DISCUS project activity - the study visit to Poland on July! The study visit will last five days: from 6 to 10 July 2015 and will take place mainly in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
